What is Historically Inspired?: Any project with historical influences! You may find some historically accurate or reproduction pieces here, but it will also include original designs and modern garments which were inspired by things that existed hundreds of years ago. This category contains my most recent projects and is frequently being updated with my newest creations.

What is Fashion & Fantasy?: These are designs that just might be able to fit into the modern world, or ones that belong in a different realm.

What is cosplay?: Everyone has a different definition, but I consider cosplay to be costumes of existing characters from pop culture. My sewing interest stemmed from cosplay and my desire to bring my favorite anime, video game, and disney characters to life. It’s under this category you will find my costumes of existing characters such as Elsa, Merida, Royal Milk Tea, Napoleon, and many others. I am no longer creating cosplays, so you will mostly find older sewing projects sorted here.

If you aren’t interested in reading about a specific project, I would suggest checking out my category page! These allow you to view all posts in a single category instead of having them sorted by individual projects.

I was just introduced to your tumblr by a friend, and I just want to say that you are amazing. I love the details of your costumes, and you look gorgeous in all your photos.

Could you make my prom dress, wedding dress, every dress I’ll wear ever? Amazing talent! I cannot believe the projects you have completed, they are absolutely amazing!

      Hello,
I was wondering if you create wedding dresses? I love your work and am getting married in the fall of ’16. Please let me know if this is possible. Thank you for your time and consideration.

I think if you alter some of her pre-existing costumes and dresses, you can make a wedding dress.

You are so incredibly talented! So beautiful too. I sew Arcadian style baby Christening gowns than are 36-52 inches long with 10-20 different tiny laces sewn together and even shaped into designs by pulling individual threads on the laces. It is beautiful and incredibly time consuming. They look like the gowns baby wealthy families dressed their babies in until the 1900s. I make a full trousseau. Dress slip, diaper cover and bonnet. I love your attention to details. It thought it took a long time but your creations look much more time consuming.

I typed in ‘frozen Elsa’ in to google and came to your page by luck, my 2 year old is obsessed with frozen (aren’t they all?). You have an amazing talent and I wish you all the best with it. I’m one of life’s unfortunates that wants to make music and create things but have absolutely no talent.

I love all your beatiful works and the passion and the talent which you put inside them. Your creativity and your determination are amazing and I think that you have the power to do whatever you want in your future.
I also wonder how do you begin this path; I have read that you are self taught and I am intringuing in what sources have you used to reach your actual skills.
Forgive me for my poor english, I am writing from Italy.

Where do you get the time/money for all your gowns? That’s my biggest issue with wanting to build things lol I never have enough money or if I do have enough I have no time because I’m working all the time to get the money *sigh* alas what’s a costumer going to do?

Hi Angela. I stumbled on your work by accident, and what beautiful work it is. I have this modest wedding dress hanging in the closet for 23 years now and it wants to become something else. There are lots of beads and material that can be re-fashioned. Let me know if your interested.

    Hello.
My name is Taya Sawyers. I’ve been watching your channel for a few years. I am Miss Nevada International 2017 and will be competing this July! I am in need of a dress sponsor. What this would consist of is essentially a loan of one of your gowns in exchange for advertisement.
I would be so grateful if you took this offer. Feel free to message me here or through email:

I am appalled by all of these people who are asking Angela to just make them dresses for free. You girls do understand that it takes a lot of time and money to make the kind of dresses she makes, right? You all should be ashamed!
